Steel constructed recessed latches are used at all critical closure points and provide maximum torque upon closure to prevent accidental opening during shipment. Steel constructed latches are designed to bridge the valance and be used in conjunction with a valance gasket. A valance gasket may be required to prevent humidity and vapor intrusion under the most severe outdoor weather conditions. Built with the same specifications as our standard Spring Loaded Twist Latch, these latches provide an option to secure against entry with the addition of a padlock.

This surface mounted key lock is mounted on a plate separate from the latches for extra security and is riveted to the container. This lock features an interior strike with triple rotational tumblers for ease of operation and security. These handles, with large rubber grips, are of carbon steel construction with 135 pound load capacity and riveted into a recessed steel retaining dish. They are placed at key balance points to allow for ease in handling and shipping.
